Early Registration for the Prelay Now Open!

Imagine yourself and 11 friends running from the beautiful Pacific Northwest-city of roses through the picturesque Willamette River Valley including acres of vineyards, tulip fields and apple orchards with wild blackberry’s and waterfalls lining the roads. Entering the city limits of Eugene (Track Town USA) your thoughts will turn to the running legend Steve Prefontaine as you finish on “Pre’s Trail” along side the Willamette River a route he himself ran many times as he helped define the sport of running in the United States. Sound epic? Trust us, it is.

  1. Team - Running With Scissors from Bend, Oregon just finished the 1st Prelay and it was truly EPIC! We can't wait until next year's event. The entire team had a great experience and every single runner enjoyed themselves despite the few hickups we encountered. The biggest reason is that the race organizers really care. Runner safety is #1, so I imagine next year we'll be neck deep in cones and signs... we had a few runners go missing, but I have faith in the EPIC staff. They'll remedy the few things that needed improvement, and leave mother nature to do what she does best - provide amazing scenery and spectacular views. The course is breathtaking. I've lived in Oregon my whole life and I spent the whole trip in awe. Way to go EPIC!!! See you next year!
